The work group wearHEALTH is an interdisciplinary team of computer scientists, mathematicians, control engineers, electrical engineers and movement scientists. Together we pursue the goal of creating trustworthy health systems based on mobile and wearable technologies. These should serve mankind and support the individual in building up, regaining, and maintaining a healthy and active lifestyle. Regarding this, we are guided by our vision:
Effective, mobile and wearable health systems that are adapted to the user.
Since our establishment in November 2014, we have been part of the Department of Computer Science at the Technische Universität Kaiserslautern. Our interdisciplinary team cooperates with various partners from research and business, as well as from the medical domain. We are part of the network of interdisciplinary competence centers in the area of human-computer interaction for the demographic change, are funded by the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research.
